In order to improve the welfare of independent smallholders, Asian Agri continues to develop its partnership through One to One program, reported Jurnal Asia.

As of the end of 2016, Asian Agri partnered with independent smallholders owning 24,500 hectares of land in North Sumatra, Riau and Jambi. This is in addition to 60,000 hectares owned by members of the government’s Plasma smallholder scheme.

Recently Asian Agri helped an independent smallholders association, the Amanah Association, successfully obtain the Indonesia Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certificate from General Director of Plantations, Ministry of Agriculture Republic of Indonesia.
