Asian Agri has set up a local community group called Masyarakat Peduli (MPA) to prevent forest fires in Indonesia, reported Jambiindependent.com.
Through PT Dasa Anugrah Sejati, one of its business units, the company provided training to the local communities around the company’s operational areas. The training is aimed at supporting the Fire-Free Village Program.
