onlinejambi.com, Bangkok – Asian Agri, Apical, and Kao have applauded the achievement of Novie Zulhi, a smallholder farmer participating in the “SMallholder Inclusion for better Livelihood & Empowerment” (SMILE) programme, who represented her group as one of the newly certified independent smallholder groups in 2023/2024.
The SMILE programme aims to empower 5,000 smallholder farmers by 2030 through increased yields, higher incomes, and RSPO certification. In its fourth year, 3,489 smallholders have enrolled in the programme, of which 1,373 have achieved RSPO certification, marking significant progress towards Asian Agri and Apical’s goals.
