The Fire Free Village Community (FFVP) of Tambak Village, assisted by Asian Agri, continues to maintain fire patrol to prevent forest and land fires even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic by implementing health protocols such as wearing masks, maintaining distance and washing hands regularly.
While patrolling, the people of Tambak Village, who are also famous for their trigona bee livestock business and kelulut honey production, regularly consume the honey to increase their immunity.
Zulkatab, Crew Leader of Fire Free Village (FFVP) said, “We are developing trigona bee livestock to produce kelulut honey. We sell the honey to the community and also distribute it to each member of the FFVP team to increase their immunity while carrying out the task of keeping the village free from fire”.
As a crew leader, Zulkatab is tasked to ensuring the prevention of forest and land fires run smoothly. “We are grateful for the hard work of all the FFVP teams, so that Tambak Village, Langgam District, Pelalawan Regency to be free from fire in 2020”, Zulkatab added.
