Asian Agri and Tanoto Foundation distributed the donation in the form of personal protective equipment (PPE) to several hospitals in North Sumatra to support Indonesian health workers who are fighting COVID-19 pandemic on Thursday (30/4).
Hadi Susanto, Head of Common Services Asian Agri explained that PPE assistance consisting of 1,000 protective suits for health workers, 5,000 medical masks, 15 pairs of surgical goggles and 10,000 pairs of gloves is part of a series of distribution of PPE donation conducted by the Tanoto Foundation and Asian Agri in North Sumatra.
“We hope that this PPE assistance can protect health workers in order to treat COVID-19 patients so they can be protected and not exposed to COVID-19. We also hope that patients will get well soon, “said Hadi.
