Asian Agri, through its business unit PT Rigunas Agri Utama (PT RAU), today presented a Fire Free Village (FFVP) award to Semambu Village, Sumay District, Tebo District, Jambi Province, for its success in preventing forest and land fires from 2022 to 2023, which held at the Tebo Regent’s Office Hall. The DBA award is presented to the representative of the Semambu Village apparatus, Marzuki, the Group Manager of PT RAU, Muhammad, accompanied by the Regent of Tebo, Aspan. “We are grateful to Asian Agri for assisting local governments in protecting their communities from the dangers of forest and land fires through the Fire Free Village Programme. Hopefully, our initiative will serve as a model for future businesses by protecting all of our locations from the threat of fire. This activity is also encourage the community to protect their territory from fire hazards,” Aspan, Regent of Tebo, stated.
