RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) is a palm oil chain organization that continues to build innovations to strengthen commitments in sustainable palm oil governance efforts throughout the world.
Plantation companies, CPO mills, banks, palm oil product manufacturing managers, traders, academics, farmers and NGOs meet to discuss developments, systems and design achievements. The annual meeting, known as the RSPO Round Table Meeting (RSPO Round Table) which was then abbreviated as RT, held RT 17 at the Marriot Marquis Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand (3-7 November 2019).
In this big event the GAPOKTAN Tanjung Sehati Swadaya Oil Palm Farmers Organization (GTS) from Merangin District, received RSPO recertification, in addition to the GTS, the two other Farmers Associations that received the RSPO certificate were the Cahaya Putra Harapan Association (ACPH) from Batanghari District and the Berkah Mandah Lestari Farmers Association (APBML) from Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, with a total number of 812 certified farmers from 3 farmer associations with an area of 1434 Ha of oil palm plantations.
